- 8 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon oil of your choice
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 cups cassava flour
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper to season to taste
Easy preparation of cassava farofa
- Melt the butter and palm oil in a frying pan over medium-low heat.
- Add the onions and cook for about 10 minutes, until soft and golden.
- Stir in the cassava flour and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring, until the mixture is evenly toasted and slightly brown.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
